Botton Studio
Botton Studio is a online store based in Seattle selling premium minimalist design leather goods. They share the passion to create simple, efficient, and high quality leather goods with a gender-neutral aesthetic. I developed the whole branding concept and some website designs and micro interaction concepts.
The concept for this logo started with a clean, modernist form. Characterized by a circle and an abstract shape within the circle, this logo was inspired by Botton Studio's origami-like leather designs and Japanese family crests. The sign and logotype combine simple modernism with sophistication.
Another reason for this logo design was to minimize excess for the brand image. Since Botton Studio offers products that are gender-neutral and minimalist, I wanted to make sure those characteristics came through in the logo.
I was also asked to design the website and basic interaction concepts.
